For the fourteenth year in a row, the Cetinje Region Museum – Sinj will participate in the traditional cultural event Museum Night with the theme Museums are important!

The museum has prepared a varied program for its visitors. From 6 p.m., educational workshops for children and adults will be held under the title Making a Model of an Island Ship, a protected intangible cultural asset of the Republic of Croatia.

An expert lecture will be organized on the traditional art of boat building in Otok, as well as the premiere of the documentary film The Art of Island Boat Building. A special lecture on the biodiversity of the Cetina River, entitled About Species in the Cetina That You Didn't Know About, will be given by Ivan Budinski, nature conservation advisor and ornithologist at the BIOM Association.

The musical part of the evening will be provided by the museum duet Muzea with the premiere of the song Cetino and Splitski solisti, who will perform a rich program of world and domestic evergreens.

For all quiz lovers, the Museum has prepared a museum knowledge quiz with topics from the rich past of Sinj and the Cetinska Krajina region. The program starts at 6 pm and will last until 11 pm, and we invite everyone to visit the Cetinska Krajina Museum – Sinj and spend the Museum Night with us.
